When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects like: paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws, or other small metal objects that can make
a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting
thebatteryterminalstogethermaycausesparks,burns,
orafire.
Always remove battery pack from your tool when you
are assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning,
or when not in use.Removingbatterypackwillprevent
accidentalstartingthat could cause serious personal
injury.
Do not use a battery pack that is damaged or modified.
Damagedormodifiedbatteriesmayexhibitunpredictable
behaviorresultinginfire,explosionorriskofinjury.
Do not modify or attempt to repair a battery pack that
has been damaged.
Batteries can explode in the presence of a source
of ignition, such as excessive heat or a pilot light.
Toreducetheriskofseriouspersonalinjury,neveruse
anycordlessproductinthepresenceofanopenflame
ortemperatureabove 265°F.An explodedbattery can
propeldebrisandchemicals.Ifexposed,flushwithwater
immediately.
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in
the off-position before connecting to power source
and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the prod-
uct. Carrying batteryproductswith yourfinger onthe
switchorenergizingbatteryproductsthathavetheswitch
oninvitesaccidents.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally
occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, ad-
ditionally seek medical help.Liquidejectedfromthe
batterymaycauseirritationorburns.
