Chapter 2 Getting Started
2.1 Power-up Action
After the speed dome is power-on, it will perform a series of self-test actions. It runs the pan
checking firstly, then the tilt checking and the camera checking at last. After the power-up actions,
the system information will be displayed for 120 s on the live view screen as shown below.

The serial No. of the speed dome, which is unique.
The default communication address of the speed dome.
The communication settings of the speed dome, including baudrate
(2400 by default), data bit (8 by default) and stop bit (1 by default)
digit).
It is for the communication with other devices.
The version of the firmware.
The version of the hardware.
The date when the program of the software is compiled.
You have to configure the address and the baudrate for the speed dome the same as those in
the control devices.
The speed dome is self-adaptive to the PELCO-D, PELCO-P, and PRIVATE-Code protocols.
