Chapter 4 Sound Prompt and Indicator
Aer the card reader is powered on, LED status indicator will turn green and ashing for 1 me.
Then it will turn red and ashing for 3 mes. At last the buzzer will send out a beep sound
indicang the starng up process is completed.
When using the card reader, it will send out dierent sounds prompt and the LED indicator on it
will have dierent statuses. You can refer to tables below for detailed informaon.

Three Slow Beeps The operaon of pressing keys or swiping card is invalid.
Rapidly Connuous Beeps Prompt for tamper-proof alarm.
Prompt for buzzer alarm.
Slowly Connuous Beeps The card reader is unencrypted.

password aer presenng the card.

Solid Red Card reader is working normally.
Flashing Red for 3 Times The operaon of pressing keys or presenng card is invalid.
Flashing Red For RS-485 protocol: Registering failed or card reader is oine.
