 The icon indicates the IP camera is offline.

3.7 HDD Initialization
Purpose:
A newly installed hard disk drive (HDD) must be initialized before it can be used with your Rail NVR.
Steps:
1. Enter the HDD Management interface.
Main Menu > HDD

2. Select the Hard Disk you want to format from the drop-down list.
3. Click the button and click OK in popup confirmation window to start formatting.
3.8 Recording
Purpose:
You can record the video from IP camera and configure the video parameters.
Steps:
1. Enter the Record Settings interface.
Main Menu > Basic Settings > Record
