Maintenance
For Your Safety
f Warning: Switch off and remove
battery from machine before
adjusting or cleaning.
f Always wear protective gloves when
handling or working near the sharp
blades.
f To ensure long and reliable service,
carry out the following maintenance
regularly:
f Examine the machine and replace
worn or damaged parts for safety.
f Grease the blade cassette with a
multi purpose grease containing high
viscosity mineral oil every 70 hours
through the correct lubrication point.
See figure 7 of illustrations.
f Use lubrication spray directly on the
blade after every use.
f Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight
to ensure that the hedge trimmer is
always in a safe working condition.
Cleaning
f Always clean the machine after
each use. Clean exterior surfaces
thoroughly using a soft brush and
cloth. Do not clean with water,
solvents or polishes.
Recommendations for Optimal Handling
of the Battery and Charger
f Warning! Do not attempt to charge
non rechargeable batteries with the
charger.
f Inserting the battery pack into
the machine with the switch on is
dangerous.
f Ensure battery is the right way up.
f Insert the battery until the locking
mechanism clicks. To remove the
battery, operate locking lever. Take
care not to drop the battery through
the hole.
f For care use and maintenance please
use charger and battery manuals
which are supplied with these products.
