2.Make sure the Eco Throttle switch is in the OFF position, or more
time will be required for warm-up.
3.Turn the engine switch to the START position and hold it there until
the engine starts.
Use the recoil starter when the battery voltage is too low to turn the
starter motor (see page
30).
CAUTION:
Do not use the starter motor for more than 5 seconds. If the engine
fails to start, release the key, and wait at least 10 seconds before
operating the starter motor again.
NOTE:
When the speed of the starter motor drops after a period of time, it is
an indication that the battery should be recharged.
4.After the engine starts, let the engine switch return to the ON
position.
