10. TROUBLESHOOTING
When the engine will not start:
Is there fuel in the
tank?
Is the engine
switch ON?
Is the fuel vale
lever on?
Is the enough oil
in the engine?
Is the spark plug
in good
condition?
Is the fuel
reaching the
carburetor?
If the engine still
does not start,
take the
generator to
your servicing
dealer.

Refill the fuel
tank (see page
25).
Turn the engine
switch ON (see
page 29).
Turn the fuel
valve lever on
(see page 28).
Add the
recommended
oil (see page 23).
Clean, readjust
gap and dry the
spark plug.
Replace it if
necessary (see
page 45).
Clean the fuel
sediment cup
(see page 44).
To check:
1)Turn off the fuel valve
lever and loosen the drain
screw.
2)Turn on the fuel valve
lever. Fuel should flow
from the drain.
