Checking the Parking Brake
1.
Shift the transmission to Neutral. Stop the
engine.
2.
Place your vehicle on its centre stand on a
firm, level surface.
3.
Rotate the rear wheel by hand and slowly
pull the parking brake lever.
4.
Check that the front edge of the parking
brake lever is within the adjustment range
(between the index marks), when the
brake begins to take hold.
If the brake begins to take hold at out of the
adjustment range, have the brake adjusted
by your dealer.
