BATTERY DISPOSAL:
Always dispose of unwanted or used
batteries in a safe and environmentally
friendly manner. DO NOT throw the bat-
tery into your regular household trash.
Law prohibits the disposal of lead-acid bat-
tery by incineration, placing them in a land-
fill, or mixing them with other rubbish.
NEVER expose the battery to FIRE. The
battery may leak or explode.
Always return your unwanted battery to a
local federal or state approved lead-acid
recycling center or an authorized automo-
bile battery seller. For residents in the
states of Florida and Minnesota, it is ILLE-
GAL for anyone to attempt to dispose of
lead-acid battery in a municipal waste
stream.
