Cable Specifications
CPO-PC-6A Power Supply Cable Specifications
The length of the power supply cable includes the length of
cables to connected modules.

Shielding and Protective Earth Grounding
In principle, data transmitting cables should be shielded in
case of RFI. The shield should be connected to the wiring
cabinet.
The ComfortPoint

Open Mixed I/O Panel Bus Module
complies with SELV (Safety Extra-Low Voltage). Earth
grounding is therefore not recommended.
Tools and Other Connected Devices
General
The CPO-IO830A is controlled by the CPO-PC-6A Plant
Controller.
During engineering using ComfortPoint

• the bus type of the individual RS485 interfaces (i.e., CP-
IO Bus, Field Bus, Modbus, Panel Bus, or BACnet Bus)
and
• the terminal assignments of the connected modules (e.g.,
CP-EXPIO, ComfortPoint

Open Field Bus Adapters,
Modbus devices, Panel Bus I/O modules, ComfortPoint
TM
Open VAVII modules, etc.),
This must be done in accordance with the given application.
