How to fix starting failure in Husqvarna 131R Brush Cutter?
- DDavid GrahamAug 16, 2025
If your Husqvarna Brush Cutter fails to start, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the stop switch is in the start position. Check the spark plug to make sure it is clean, dry, and properly tightened. Also, verify that the electrode gap is correct, referring to the technical data for the correct measurement, and that the spark plug is installed with a suppressor. Incorrect fuel type can also cause starting failure, so drain any incorrect fuel and replace it with the correct type. Adjust the idle speed with the T-screw. Binding pawls may also be the problem, in that case, adjust or replace the pawls. Also, ensure to clean around the pawls.
