Automatic Transmission (if equipped)
P - Park
R - Reverse
N - Neutral
D - Drive
3 - Third Gear
2 - Second Gear
L - Low Gear
Normal forward driving is done with
the shift lever in the D (Drive) position.
To move the shift lever from the
P (Park) position, the brake pedal must
be depressed.
Manual Transmission (if equipped)
ENGAGING REVERSE
When shifting into R (Reverse) gear, lift
the collar tab up and then shift into the
R (Reverse) gear position.
Occupant Classifi cation System
PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF INDICATOR
The occupant classifi cation system will disable the right front passenger’s air
bag under certain conditions (light on).
The light will not illuminate when the passenger’s air bag is enabled. Refer to
the Owner’s Manual for a complete description of this system.
Heated Seats (if equipped)
Push the LH or RH switch to warm
the seat.
Fuel Filler Door Release

reinstall the fuel cap fully and
make sure it clicks at least
three times. Failure to do
this may result in the Check
Engine light illuminating.
