5. FUEL & CHAIN OIL
Fuel
The engines are lubricated by oil specially formulated
for air-cooled 2-stroke petrol engine use.
RECOMMENDED MIXING RATIO
GASOLINE 40 : OIL 1
These engines are certied to operate on unleaded
petrol.
The fuel is highly ammable. Do not smoke or bring any
ame or sparks near fuel.
1. FUEL WITH NO OIL (STRAIGHT PETROL) will cause severe
damage to the engine inner parts very quickly.
2. OIL FOR 4-CYCLE ENGINE USE or WATER COOLED
2-CYCLE ENGINE USE – This can cause spark plug fouling,
exhaust port blocking, or piston ring sticking.
HOW TO MIX FUEL
1. Measure out the correct quantities of petrol and 2-stroke oil to
be mixed.
2. Put some of the gasoline into a clean, approved fuel container.
3. Pour in all of the oil and shake well.
4. Pour in the rest of petrol and shake again for at least one minute.
5. Put a clear indication on the outside of the container to avoid
mixing up with straight petrol or other containers.
