5. Remove any cartridge, cassette, or diskette from the
system unit and attached devices.
6. If the cordless keyboard is being used without its
optional keyboard cord:
• Position the keyboard within 12 inches of the
front of the system unit.

Remove any obstructions between the infra-red
(IR) emitter in the back of the keyboard and the
IR receiver on the system unit.
