Change the needle
1. Turn the hand wheel towards you to lift the needle. Then lower the press-
er foot.
2. Release the needle by turning the needle holder screw anti-clockwise.
The screw may be very tight the rst time you unscrew it. Remove the
needle from the needle holder.
3. Fit the new needle into the needle holder with the at side facing away
from you. Push the needle upwards into the needle holder as far as pos-
sible.
4. Tighten the screw on the needle holder securely.
Do not use needles that are bent or blunt, because they easily damage the
fabric. This machine uses a standard needle size 90/14.
