1.10 Audio Subsystem
The audio subsystem consists of the following devices:
• Intel 82801GB ICH7
• Realtek ALC662 audio codec
The audio subsystem includes these features:
• Signal-to-noise ratio ≥ 90 dB
• Supports wake events (driver dependent)
• Mic in pre-amp that supports dynamic, condenser, and electret microphones
The audio subsystem supports the following audio interfaces:
• S/PDIF connector
• Front panel audio header, including pins for:

⎯ Mic in
• Back panel audio connectors:
⎯ Line in
⎯ Line out
⎯ Mic in
NOTE
Systems built with an AC 97 front panel will not be able to obtain the Microsoft
Windows Vista* logo.
