1. B Check the sensor's temperature value
under Temperatures.
Does the display show -52.1 or 160?
yes: Open circuit or short-circuit in the sensor. Æ 2

2. Does the display show -52.1? yes: Open circuit in the sensor or connection
B Check the wiring to the sensor.
Does the error message recur? Æ 3
no: Short circuit in cable or sensor.
B Check the wiring to the sensor.

3. B Disconnect the sensor.
B Check the resistance and compare
with the table.
Do the values correspond?
yes: Æ 4
no: B Replace the sensor.

4. B Check conductive pathways on the I/O
circuit board.
Are the conductive pathways damaged?
yes: B Replace I/O card.
Does the error message recur? Æ 5
no: Æ 5
5. B Check the CANbus connections
between the circuit boards.
Is the wiring OK?
yes: Æ 6
no: B Replace the wiring.

6. Logic error in the control board. B Replace control board.
