 If you press and hold the key A/PS, memorization occurs
automatically until the six available positions for the selected
band are filled.
Scanning of memorized stations
 Press the key A/PS to activate automatic scanning of the s-
tations memorized for the currently active band. To select the dis-
played station, press the key A/PS again.
Receiving weather forecasts (if available)
In areas covered by this service, you can tune in to special fre-
quencies to receive information on local weather conditions.
 Press the key to access the dedicated frequency.
Press the key again to deactivate the function.
You can also activate this service while you are listening to the
radio by pressing the aforementioned key, or by pressing the
key BAND until the display shows the respective band (WB).
 You can memorize the weather stations by following the pro-
cedure described in the paragraph "Memorization of the desired
frequency".
CD
 Press the key (located at top centre) to open the front pan-
el and insert the CD, which will be loaded automatically. The CD
will start playing immediately from the first track.
If the CD is not loaded, there may already be a disc inside
of it. Press the key to the left of the slot to expel the disc.
Select track
 Press the keys or to go to the next or previous track,
respectively.
 Press and hold the keys or to fast forward or rewind
the track, respectively.
Pause
 Press the key 1 ( ) to pause the disc. The display will show
message "pause". Press the key again to continue listening.
Track preview
 If you want to hear the first 10 seconds of each track, press
the key 2 (the symbol appears on the display).
Press the key again to continue normal listening.
Repeating a track
 Press key 3 (the symbol appears on the display) if you
want to repeat the track that is currently playing.
Press the key again to continue listening to the disc normally.
Random repetition of tracks
 If you want to listen to tracks in random order press the key
4 (the symbol appears on the display)
Press the key again to continue listening to the disc normally.
CD MP3
MP3 files may reside in the disc as in a computer, or they can
be placed in one or more folders which, in turn, can contain oth-
er files and other folders, and so on, as shown in the figure.
The numbers represent the order (level) in which playback
will occur (with reference to the example).
