Activity/Risk Advice
Overturn
It is imperative that lap belts are worn at all times during operation
with the ROPS frame in upright position. In the event of an overturn the
operator should ensure hands remain braced on the steering wheel.
In the event of an overturn do not start the engine or attempt to
upright the machine as this can cause significant costly damage.
Please contact the hirer or JCB dealer.
Slopes
The maximum safe working angle is 18% (1 in 5 or 10.2°). This is
referenced in the operator’s manual and decal at the rear of the skip.
The general rule on slopes should always be ‘weight to the sky’, the
heavy end of the dumper should generally be uphill.
