WORKING
THE
MENUS
To
use
the
Menu,
press
any
of
the
remote’s
4-way
cursor
control
buttons
and
the
JVC
scrolling
menu
will
appear
on
the
screen.
The
item
that
appears
yellow
is
the
selected
item.
Factory
settings
begin
with
the
Picture
Settings
menu.
However,
since
Initial
Setup
is
so
impor-
tant,
this
guide
begins
here.

During
Auto
Tuner
Setup,
the
TV
will
automatically
scan
through
all
available
channels
and
memorize
the
active
ones.

over-the-air

selected

Tuner
Setup
is
working.

During
Auto
Tuner
Setup
the
TV
will
be
programmed
to
receive
only
active
channels.
Once
the
channels
are
acti-
vated
here,
they
are
automatically
included
in
scan.

Some
weak
or
distant
channels
may
be
included
in
scan.
You
can
delete
them
from
scanning
by
removing
the
“\"
mark
in
the
SCAN
column
in
the
Channel
Summary
menu.

You
can
add
or
delete
channels
from
channel
scanning,
and
lock
out
any
“unautho-
rized’
viewers
from
up
to
all 181
channels.
