Setting the recording timer
You can set the recording timer for DAB/FM
stations or an external device.
By setting the recording timer, the System turns on
automatically one minute before the recording
timer starts.

Set the clock before setting the recording timer.

Check the reception of the DAB/FM station and
the connection of the external device before
setting the recording timer.

Preset the desired DAB/FM station before
setting the recording timer. (p. 25)

Connect the USB device to the unit before
setting the recording timer.

The recording timer does not work when the
power is supplied through the batteries. Supply
the power through an AC outlet.

Press [CLOCK/TIMER].

Press [UP] or [DOWN] repeatedly until
“REC TMR” appears.

Press [UP] or [DOWN] to adjust the “hour”
of the starting time.

When you press and hold the button, the
hour digit changes continuously.

[UP] or [DOWN] button, the digit changes

Press [UP] or [DOWN] to adjust the
“minute” of the starting time, the “hour”
and “minute ” of the ending time, and
select the source and the volume.

Select “FM” or “AUDIO IN” as the source.

When DAB/FM tuner is selected as the
source, select a preset number using [UP]
or [DOWN] and then press [SET].

After setting up the volume, “REC SET” is
displayed, followed by the settings in order.

Press [D] to turn off the System.

The System turns on automatically and
starts recording about one minute before
the starting time of the recording timer.

The “REC” indicator lights while recording.

The recording timer works only when the
System is turned off.

While the timer is set, the timer indicator
[C] lights up.
