Use the safety catch to secure the
handgun lever.
Release the lever on the trigger gun.
Switch off the high pressure cleaner.
Turn off tap.
Press the lever on the trigger gun to re-
lease any remaining pressure in the
system.

Clean special lance.
Danger
Switch off the high pressure cleaner before
carrying out any cleaning and maintenance
tasks to the telescopic pipe and secure it
against being switched on.
Let the special lance cool off, if it was re-
cently used.
When using the lance with cleaning or
disinfection agents, rinse with clear wa-
ter prior to non-use of 1 hour or more.
Use a lint-free cleaning cloth to clean
the special lance.
Do not use any aggressive detergents
for cleaning.
NOTICE
Inadequate cleaning can block the nozzle.
Even with the high-pressure cleaner turned
off, a small amount of liquid will be under
pressure in the special lance.
Point special lance with the nozzle
away from the body and clean nozzle
with thin wire.
Service and repairs may only be carried out
by authorised persons or Kärcher Custom-
er Service.
