n Clean it with a damp cloth or sponge.
n Never immerse the appliance in water or put it under running water.
n The glass coffee jug, the lid and the filter holder can be washed in the dishwasher.
Descaling
To descale your coffee maker, you can use:
- either a sachet of commercial descaling agent diluted in 250 ml of water
- or 250 ml of white vinegar.
n Pour the descaling agent or vinegar into the tank and start the coffee maker (without filter and without
coffee grounds).
n Allow half the mixture to run into the coffee jug, then turn off the by pressing the button.
n Leave to work for 1 hour.
n Restart the coffee maker by pressing the button and allow the rest of the mixture to run through.
n Rinse the coffee maker by running it twice with a tank of clean water.
The guarantee does not cover coffee makers that fail or work badly due to scale.

Problems Solutions
The coffee maker does not come on: Check the appliance is properly connected.
There seems to be a leak:
Check if the water tank has been filled above the maxi-
mum level.
The water takes too long to run through
or the appliance makes excessive
noise:
