– Top up the brake fluid to level .
Brake fluid DOT 4 / DOT 5.1 ( p. 194)
– Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.
– Refit screw  with membrane .

Clean up overflowed or spilt brake fluid immediately with water.
9.46Checking rear brake linings
Warning
Danger of accidents Reduced braking due to worn brake linings.
– Worn brake linings should be replaced immediately in an authorized KTM workshop.

– Check the brake linings for minimum thickness .
Minimum thickness  ≥ 1 mm (≥ 0.04 in)
» If the minimum thickness is less than specified:
–
Change the rear brake linings. x ( p. 122)
