A CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
• Do not work under any hydraulically supported
devices. They can settle, suddenly leak down,

under tractor or any machine elements for
servicing or adjustment, securely support them
with stands or suitable blocking beforehand.
HOW TO OPEN THE HOOD
AcAUTION
To avoid personal injury from contact with moving
parts;
• Never open the hood or engine side cover while
the engine is running.
• Do not touch muffler or exhaust pipes while
,. .. they are hot;

Hood
To open the hood, pull the knob to release the latch and
open the hood .

to remove the engine cover, remove the bolts, loosen the
~i:Jt~·4rct :pull forward as indicated by arrows below.
It' is not necessary to detach the engine cover for daily
check.-·

• When reinstall the engine cover, tighten the bolts and
nuts to the following torques. .
- 3.9 to 5.8 N-m (0.4 to 0.6 kgf-m, 2.9 to . 4.3 ft-lbs)
