OPERATING THE MOWER
1. Set the throttle lever to the “FAST”
position.
(1) Fast position
(2) Slow position
2. Push down the PTO lever to the
“ENGAGED” position.
(1) PTO lever (A) “ENGAGED”
(B) “DISENGAGED”
NOTE:
¡ For best cut quality and performance, always mow
with the throttle lever in the “FAST” position.
Use the speed control pedal to select the desired
mowing speed range.
(1) During heavy duty use, operate the machine at a
slower ground speed or go over the area twice.
The first pass should be with the deck at the
highest position then mow to desired height.
(2) The mower will not cut cleanly if the ground
speed is too high or if the blade speed drops due
to an overload.
3. Control ground speed by using the speed
control pedal of the machine.
NOTE:
¡ Keep the mower deck in the fully raised position
when the mower is not engaged.
