SECTION 4 - MAINTENANCE
The impor tance of maintenance
Maintaining the scooter properly is essential
for safe, economical and trouble-free riding. It
will also help reduce air pollution and
maximize fuel economy.
To properly take care of the scooter, the
following pages in this Owner's Manual
include a maintenance schedule to help you
make sure the scooter is serviced at the
appropriate intervals.
T h e s e i n s t r u c t i o n s a r e b a s e d o n t h e
assumption that the scooter will be used
normally on the design purpose. Usually
und er hi g h s pee d d riv i ng or r i din g i n
unusually wet or dusty area will require more
freq u ent serv ic e th an s p ecifi ed i n t h e
maintenance schedule. Consult with the
KYMCO dealer for recommendations about
your personal needs.

WARNING

involved in a crash, be sure to have the
KYMCO dealer inspect all major parts, even
if you are able to make some repairs.
Improper maintenance of the scooter or
failure to solve a problem before next riding
could result in a crash in which you could be
seriously hurt or dead.
NOTE: Always follow the inspections, service
recommendations and schedules on later pages.
WARNING
When performing maintenance service on
the scooter you may need to start the
engine. Running the engine indoors can be
hazardous. Exhaust gas contains carbon
monoxide which is colorless and odorless,
and can cause death or severe injury. Start
the engine only where is ventilated well,
preferably operate outdoors.
