4.2.4 DIP Switches
The DIP switches are used for basic unit conguraton
out-of-the-box.
More advanced conguration is possible with a pro-
grammer soware and this is further elaborated in
the PIR II Technical Handbook - NE41 19005-02.
For an overview of the DIP-switch functions, see „13
DIP switch settings“.
4.2.5 LEDs
Operation LED (D2)
The operation LED (D2) indicates when alarms are
sent, e.g. a user alarm. Technical alarms (e.g. Battery
low or Radio Test Alarms) are not indicated by the
operation LED (D2).
The operation LED also visually indicates when the
unit starts up and is in Walk Test mode.
Detection LED (D1)
The Detection LED (D1) indicates if the PIR sensor has
detected any movement.
