VI-ACCESSORIES
The accessories section describes the application of most
of the optional accessories which can be factory or field in
stalled to the LHT units. OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES sec
tion (see table of contents) show specific size per unit.
A-C1CURB Mounting Frames
When installing the LHT units on a combustible surface for
downflow discharge applications, the C1CURB roof
mounting frame is used. The roof mounting frames are
available in heights from 8 to 24 inches and are recom
mended in all other applications but not required. If the LHT
units are not mounted on a flat (roof) surface, they MUST
be supported under all edges and under the middle of the
unit to prevent sagging. The units MUST be mounted level
within 1/16” per linear foot or 5mm per meter in any direc
tion.
The assembled C1CURB mounting frame is shown in fig
ure 16. Refer to the roof mounting frame installation in
structions for details of proper assembly and mounting.
The roof mounting frame MUST be squared to the roof and
level before mounting. Plenum system MUST be installed
before the unit is set on the mounting frame. Typical roof
curbing and flashing is shown in figure 17. Refer to the roof
mounting frame installation instructions for proper plenum
construction and attachment.

B-Transitions
Optional supply/return transition C1DIFF30B-1 is available
for use with LHT 7.5-ton units. C1DIFF31B-1 is available
for 8.5 and 10-ton units and C1DIFF32B-1 is available for
use with LHT 12.5 ton units. All transitions are used with the
appropriate C1CURB roof mounting frame. Transition
must be installed in the mounting frame before installing
the unit on the frame. Refer to the manufacturer's instruc
tions included with the transition for detailed installation
procedures.
C-Supply and Return Diffusers
Optional flush mount diffuser/return FD11 and extended
mount diffuser/return RTD11 are available for use with the
LHT units. Refer to manufacturer's instructions included
with transition for detailed installation procedures.
D-C1DAMP Outdoor Air Dampers
Field- or Factory-Installed
Optional manual (C1DAMP10B-1) and motorized
(C1DAMP20B-1) outdoor air dampers provide up to 25 per
cent fresh air for return. Motorized damper opens to mini
mum position simultaneously with the blower during the oc
cupied period and remains closed during the unoccupied
period. Manual damper assembly is manually operated;
damper position is manually set at installation and remains
in that position.
