The following figures show the position of the transport threads. As a standard,
gearboxes from size g500−H210/G50BH121 onwards come with a transport thread for
eye bolts in compliance with DIN 580 in the gearbox cover. In the case of smaller drives,
the thread in the output shaft can be used. The eye bolt is not included in the scope of
supply!

4.3 Preparation
¯ Protect shaft sealing rings against contact with solvents!
¯ Thoroughly remove anticorrosion agents from the output shaft and from flange
faces.
¯ Repair paintwork damage.
¯ In some cases, due to lack of space, stud bolts with nuts must be used instead of
head screws. In these cases, contact Lenze, if necessary.
Tighten all screw connections with the torques given and lock them with standard
screw locking adhesive!
