4.3 PLAYSTATION HOW TO
The A50 X works best with the Playstation console when both HDMI and USB connections are used.
Congure
1 Place A50 X headset in the Base Station dock and powered on.
2 In Setting > Sound > Audio Output:
• For Output Device, choose HDMI Device (TV) and make sure Switch Output Device Automatically is disabled.
• For HDMI Device Type, choose TV if you have a TV, Stereo speakers, or Stereo soundbar. Choose AV Amplier if you have
amulti-speaker sound system, choose the number of channels that appropriately matches your setup.
• Navigate to the bottom and under Audio Form (Priority), select Linear PCM.
3 Optionally: if desired, 3D Audio for TV Speakers can be enabled, but be sure to toggle o/disallow Apply Measurement Results
to3D Audio.
4 Under Microphone, be sure A50 X is selected.
Use
1 When the Headset is docked/powered o, Audio from the PlayStation will pass through the A50 X Base Station to the TV/Speaker.
2 When the headset is undocked/powered on, Audio from the PlayStation will be auto-routed to the headset.
• If the A50 X headset is undocked, you can power o at any time to resume audio playback to your TV/Speakers.
