Always disconnect the air hose before clearing a jam.
The door
of
this tool is designed to open automatically
when
a
jam occurs. If it does not open automatically, open
it
by hand.
To
do
so,
first disconnect the air hose. Then pull
the door toward the tool body and open it.
If
the door cannot be opened by hand, use
a
slotted screw-
driver. Insert the screwdriver between the door and the
driver guide. Twist the screwdriver to pry open the door.
After removing
a
jammed nail, close the door by hand,
pulling it toward the tool body and then closing it firmly.
