DISASSEMBLING
1. It is required to remove Drill chuck when replacing Gear assembly (P. 2).

3. Remove Gear ass'y, Motor and Speed change
lever from Housing L at a time.

3x16 (x11)

2. Remove Housing R by unscrewing Tapping screw 3x16 (x11).

6. Shift the tail of Torsion spring and
hook it to the notch of Brush holder.
Note: Hold "A" to avoid Torsion
spring slipping off.
7. Lift up
Carbon brush.

Yoke unit
8. Pull out Armature and Yoke unit.

Remove
Speed change lever
Gear ass’y
4. Remove Speed change lever from Gear ass'y.
Note: Be careful not to lose compression springs 4.

9. Pull out Armature while
applying Gear side of
Armature on workbench
and pushing down Yoke
unit.

5. Remove Motor from Gear ass’y.
