4.1 VTA Control (VCS)
Various controller variants are available in order to be able to cover all appli-
cations.

MPC Multi Purpose Controller
MOP Main Operating Panel
SACS Scavenging Air Control Software
ECS Engine Control System
For this application, parameters including the following are required for
adjustment of the VTA:
▪ Filling of fuel index transmitter or regulator
▪ Scavenge air pressure
These parameters are processed in the Multi-purpose controller (MPC) of the
VTA control system (VCS). The MPC supplies the VTA control system with
signals for adjusting the VTA.
The following parameters are output:
▪ Slow Down
▪ Warnings for the safety system
