II. SAFETY
Removal of grounding prong can create electrical hazard. If necessary, properly
install an approved 3-pronged adapter to an electrical outlet having 2-pronged
plug access.
Do not use a cell phone, walkie/talkie, laptop, or other radio transmitter while
operating.
Do not connect an extension cord to the AC/DC converter or the battery charger.
Do not remove anti-tip wheels.
Avoid exposure to rain, snow, ice, salt, or standing water whenever possible.
Maintain and store in a clean and dry condition.
Keep tools and other metal objects away from battery terminals. Contact with
tools can cause electrical shock.
Do not allow unsupervised children to play near the Travel Scooter while the
batteries are charging.
Do not expose to heat sources such as open flame or sparks. Do not transport
batteries with flammable or combustible items.
Keep your hands, clothing, and all other objects away from the tires when
driving. Do not allow any personal belongings or objects to drag behind the
power chair when driving. Be aware that loose-fitting clothing or other objects
can become caught in drive tires and/or they may become entangled in the
running gear.
