TPMSusespressuresensorsbuiltintotyrevalvesto
continuouslymonitorpressureandtransmitsthesignalto
anECUinsidethevehicleusingRFsignals.Ifitdeduces
thatthepressureofatyrehasfallenbelowthepredened
limitofthesystem,thewarninglightontheinstrument

Checkyourtyresattheearliestopportunityandreinate

Thissystemisself-monitoring,ifamalfunction
isdetected,theTPMSwarninglamp(yellow)onthe
instrumentpackwillashfor90secondsrstandthen
illuminate.
Ifalowtyrepressureisdetectedthewarninglampin
theinstrumentpackwillilluminateyellow.Formore

Note:Whenapunctureisdetected,thesystemwill
requiresometimetoanalyseinformationpriorto
illuminatingthewarninglamp.
Undercertainconditionsthewarninglightmayilluminate
whenafaultisnotpresent,theseconditionsinclude:
•Anonrecommendedtyretted(includingsparetyre).
•Roughterraindrivingforexcessiveperiods.
