Adjusttheheightoftheheadrestraintsothat
thetopofitisinlinewiththetopofthe
occupant'shead.Thislocationmayreduce
theriskofheadandneckinjuriesintheevent
ofacollision.DONOTadjustorremovethe
headrestraintswhilethecarismoving.
DONOThanganythingonanyheadrestraint
orheadrestraintrod.
Theheadrestraintisdesignedtopreventrearward
movementoftheheadintheeventofacollisionor
emergencybraking,therebyreducingtheriskofheadand
neckinjuries.
Whenadjustingaheadrestraintfromlowtohighposition,
pulltheheadrestraintdirectlyupward,andgentlypress
itdownwardafteritreachesthedesiredpositionto
makesurethatitislockedinposition.T oremovethe
headrestraint,pressandholdtheguidesleevebutton(as
indicatedbythearrow)ontheleftoftheheadrestraint,
thenpulltheheadrestraintupwardtoremoveit.
Whenadjustingaheadrestraintfromhightolowposition,
presstheguidesleevebutton(asindicatedbythearrow)on
theleftoftheheadrestraint,andpresstheheadrestraint
downward;releasethebuttonafteritreachesthedesired
position,andgentlypresstheheadrestraintdownwardto
makesurethatitislockedinposition.
