1.1 Notes for Installers Boxes
The information contained in this Engineering Data Book may primarily be of use during the system design stage of a Midea
V6-i Series VRF project. Additional important information which may primarily be of use during field installation has been
placed in boxes, such as the example below, titled “Notes for installers”.
1.2 Definitions
In this Engineering Data Book, the term “applicable legislation” refers to all national, local and other laws, standards, codes,
rules, regulations and other legislation that apply in a given situation.
1.3 Precautions
All system installation including installation of piping and electrical works must only be carried out by competent and suitably
qualified, certified and accredited professionals and in accordance with all applicable legislation.
 Notes for installers boxes contain important information which may primarily be of use during field installation,
rather than during desk-based system design.
