Press the light coloured button under the handle of the
brew unit a and whilst doing so turn the handle in the
direction of the arrow b.
Degreasing the brew unit
Depending on the fat content of the coffee used,
the brew unit could become blocked. It should
therefore be cleaned after approx. 200 portions
have been prepared using the cleaning tablets supplied with
the machine. These have been specially formulated for use in
this coffee machine and are available from your Miele Dealer
or from the Miele Spare Parts Department.
To remind you to degrease the brew unit, the message
"Please run the cleaning programme" will appear in the
display after 200 portions. It will not go out until the
cleaning programme has been carried out.
The cleaning programme lasts for approx. 6 minutes.
