Software version ID
check
Do not press the Delay
Start button. The "Delay
Start" LED is not lit.
"Rinse" LED is out or flashes. The
display shows the software version
ID no. in consecutive digits
(e.g., -1304).
Display and delete fault
memory
Press the Delay Start
button 1x. The "Delay
Start" LED flashes 1x
quickly intermittently.
Press the Start/Stop
button. Press it again to
display saved faults. To
delete the fault memory,
press the Start/Stop
button again and hold it for
4 s.
"Rinse" LED is off or flashes. The
display shows F and a fault code
number alternately. If the fault
memory is empty, F and 0 are
displayed alternately.
Component test
Press the Delay Start
button 2x. The "Delay
Start" LED flashes 2x
quickly intermittently.
Press the Start/Stop
button. Press it again to
activate the next
component.
The display shows which
component is being tested. For
example, if drain pump M8 is being
tested, U and 3 are shown
alternately. For the test sequence
and background information about
individual components and their
activation, see the service manual.
Operating hours check
Press the Delay Start
button 3x. The "Delay
Start" LED flashes 3x
quickly intermittently.
The display shows the number
of operating hours as follows: If the
appliance has run for 74 hours, h, 7
and 4 are displayed alternately.
LED test
Press the Delay Start
button 4x. The "Delay
Start" LED flashes 4x
quickly intermittently.
Press the Start/Stop
button 1x.
The display shows 6.1. All LEDs
light up.

1.3 Optima - G 1262
Initial requirements:
1. Open the door.
2. Switch off the appliance.
Accessing:
1. Press and hold the Program button.
2. Switch on the appliance.
3. Release the Program button.
4. Immediately press the Program button 3 times; on the 3rd time, hold until
the "Rinse & Hold" LED flashes (1 flash per second).
5. Release the Program button.
6. If the "Rinse & Hold" LED does not light up, repeat the procedure.
