Lowering the top heat/grill
element
If the oven interior roof is badly soiled,
the t
op heat/grill element can be
lowered to make cleaning easier. It is
recommended to clean the oven interior
roof regularly with a damp cloth or
dishwashing sponge.
 Danger of burning.
Make sure the oven heating
ele
ments are switched off and that
the oven cavity is cool.
 T
o lower the top heat/grill element,
the nut needs to be unscrewed.
Use caution not to damage the
element.
Do not use force to lower the
element.
 Carefully lower the element.
Use caution not to damage the roof
li
ner.
Do not use the abrasive side of the
dishwashi
ng sponge to clean the
roof liner.
 Cle
an the roof of the oven with a
damp cloth or a dishwashing sponge.
 Aft
er cleaning, raise the top heat/grill
element gently back up again. Refit
the nut and tighten to secure the
element back in position.
