6.3.2 Battery Prompts
If the battery has low charge, voice prompts will be given. In this case, you should take actions by referring to the
following table.
6.4 Replacing the Battery
Before replacing the battery, perform the following inspections.
■ Make sure the equipment is turned off.
■ Make sure the battery to be replaced is intact.
To replace the battery, follow this procedure.
1. Place the equipment on the worktable with face down.
2. Remove the screws from the battery door.
3. Remove the battery door as indicated.
4. Slide the battery to the left, and lift it to remove from the battery compartment.
5. Align the battery pins, slide the battery into the battery compartment until it clicks into place.
6. Re-install the battery door with the screws.
7. Perform the test by referring to 8.3.1User Test.
Voice Prompt Recommended Action
Low Battery! Please replace battery as
soon as possible
The battery charge is low. Replace the battery with a new
battery immediately. If not, this voice prompt will be repeated
every five minutes.
Battery Depleted! Please replace battery
immediately
The battery is almost depleted. Replace the battery with a new
battery immediately. If not, this voice prompt will be repeated
every minute and the equipment automatically shuts down in
three minutes.
