ADJUSTMENT OF THE CARBURETOR
CAUTION
Consult your dealer when it is necessary to adjust the low-speed revolution.
If the low-speed revolution is increased too much, the main unit may fail
to stop even if the throttle lever is returned.
The revolution speed of the engine is optimally adjusted before shipment from the factory.
When the engine does not operate properly so that it is deemed necessary to adjust the
carburetor, consult your dealer.

1. The low-speed revolution setting is adjusted with the low-speed adjusting screw.
• Clockwise: The revolution speed increases.
• Counterclockwise: The revolution speed decreases.

ADJUSTMENT OF THE THROTTLE WIRE
WARNING
A larger play on the throttle wire could cause starting trouble.
A larger play on the throttle wire could cause unexpected increase in the
revolution speed if the wire runs out the guide accidentally.
After connecting the engine to the working machine and arranging the wire, unfasten the lock
nut, and adjust the play on the throttle wire at 0.5 to 1.0 mm using the adjusting screw. Re-
tighten the lock nut.
Unless sufcient play is retained, the working machine may fail to stop even if the throttle
lever is returned.
