INSPECTION BEFORE ENGINE OPERATION
Fuel
Please read carefully and understand the section of “For safe use” in this
manual before use.
DANGER
• Gasoline is extremely flammable. If it evaporates, it could explode,
causing re or lethal accident. Conrm that no re is used nearby, and
handle it with sufcient care.
• Spilled oil must be wiped off. It could foul the clothing or cause re.
WARNING
• Do not change the mixing ratio of fuel. Otherwise it could cause
breakdown of devices or improper operation.
• Do not use any oil for 4-cycle engine. It could soil the plug, seize the
piston ring or clog the mufer.
Use a mixture of regular gasoline for vehicle and special oil for 2-cycle engine.
Mixing ratio
(Volumetric ratio)
• Do not use fuels which contain alcohol.
• Do not use the JASO FA or FB oil.
• Purchase a mixing device and a fuel storage tank from a dealer.
• Fuel deteriorates by the inuence of ultraviolet light or high temperatures. It could cause
improper operation of the engine such as the starting trouble or insufcient output. Mixed
fuel should be used up within 30 days as the standard.

Special oil for 2-cycle engine
JASO FC or FD, or
ISO-L-EGC or EGD
