lock & unlock phone
You can lock your phone to keep others from using it. To lock
or unlock your phone, you need the 4-digit unlock code.
To
manually lock
your phone:
Press
M
>
Settings
>
Security
>
Phone Lock
>
Lock Now

To
automatically lock
your phone whenever you turn it off:
Press
M

Settings
>
Security
>
Phone Lock

Automatic Lock

Note:
You can make emergency calls with a locked keypad
(see page 40). With a locked keypad, the phone still rings or
vibrates for incoming calls and can be answered without
unlocking the keypad.
Note:
When the keypad is locked, there is a 1 second
wait time between each key press. If you press a key
prematurely, the display does not update and it could appear
as if the phone has powered down.
Note:
You cannot make emergency calls on a locked phone.
A locked phone still rings or vibrates for incoming calls or
messages,
but you need to unlock it (with your 4-digit
code) to answer.
