NVM-Series Voice Mail Setup
!! IMPORTANT !!
Use the following steps only if your NVM-Series Voice Mail does not include
DS2000 on the IN - Install System menu.
Set up the Voice Mail Database
● Select IN - Install System.
● Reinstall the Voice Mail for DS01/VS (24 x 72) and customize the
trunk numbers to begin with 401.
Change the Voice Mail Call Pickup String
● Select CU - Customize Database.
● Select SO - System Options.
● Change the Call Pickup String option to W**.
Change the Voice Mail Park and Page String
● Select CU - Customize Database.
● Select MO - Mailbox Options.
● Enter the extension’s mailbox number (e.g., 300 for extension 300).
● For the mailbox selected (e.g., 300), change the Park/Paging string
option to FW**nnn/*10 (where nnn is the extension’s number).
For extension 300, for example, the string would be
FW**300/*10.
