Step 7: Adjusting the Cutting Height.
Using the Cutting Height Lever located under the Access Cover (Figure 21), adjust the Cutting Height so that you cut off only
one (1) to two (2) inches of grass at a time.
1. Open the Access Cover and remove the Safety Key.
2. Make sure all four (4) Wheels are level.
3. Push the Lever out of its present notched position and move
the Lever up or down to the desired level. When you reach the
desired level, simply release the Lever into the notch.
To easily move the Cutting Height Lever, hold the
Handlebar with your right hand to keep the Mower
steady and adjust the Lever with your left hand.
Each position adjusts the Mower’s Blade level to a different Cutting
Height. Pushing the Cutting Height Lever towards Position 1 cuts
more grass (which leaves your grass shorter); pushing the Lever
towards Position 4 cuts less grass (leaving your grass longer).
The following table lists the final cut grass heights.

4 3.0" (7.6 cm)
