Central focusing binoculars
Binoculars
with
the
diopter
adjustment ring on the right
eyepiece.
CD
Rotate
the
focusing ring until you
obtain a sharp image
of
your subject
in
the
left eyepiece.
® Rotate
the
diopter
adjustment ring
of
the
right
eyepiece until you obtain
a sharp image
of
the
same subject in
the
right
eyepiece.
@ Check focusing on
both
eyes.
@ When you view a different subject,
adjust
the
focusing ring until you
obtain a sharp image.
Binoculars
with
the
diopter
adjustment
ring on the left eyepiece (some models
of
zoom binoculars).
CD
Set
the
zoom lever at
the
maximum magnification position.
® Rotate
the
focusing ring until you obtain a sharp
image
of
your subject in
the
right
eyepiece.
@ Rotate
the
diopter
adjustment ring
of
the
left
eyepiece until you obtain a sharp image
of
the
same subject in
the
left eyepiece.
@ Check focusing on
both
eyes.
® When you view a different subject, adjust
the
focusing ring until you obtain a sharp image.
IF: Individual focusing binoculars
For
individual focusing binoculars,
diopter
adjustment
is
basically
unnecessary.
CD
Focus
right
and left
eyes
separately.
® When
the
subject changes, focus
with
both
eyes separately.
Note: For
zoom
binoculars
When viewing the subject at
a different magnification, first
correctly adjust focusing at a higher
magnification. This minimizes
blurring, which may occur when you
change magnification.
*
If
you change
the
magnification from
low
to
high after adjusting focusing
at
low
magnification, serious image
blurring may occur.
