Note: When Keyguard is on, calls may be possible to the emergency number
programmed into your phone (e.g. 112 or other official emergency number). Key in
the emergency number and press . The number is displayed only after you
have keyed in its last digit.
Security settings
To access this menu: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and
Security settings.
Note: When security features that restrict calls are in use (call barring, closed user
group and fixed dialling), calls may be possible to certain emergency numbers in
some networks (e.g. 112 or other official emergency numbers).
PIN code request: You can set the phone to ask for the PIN code of the SIM card
when the phone is switched on. Some SIM cards do not allow this function to
be turned off.
Call barring service: With this network service you can restrict the calls that
are made and received with your phone. Select the desired barring option and
set the option on (Activate) or off (Cancel), or check whether the barring
option is activated (Check status).
Fixed dialling: You can restrict your outgoing calls to selected phone numbers,
if allowed by your SIM card. Select Numbers to check the phone numbers
(Search), add new numbers to the fixed dialling list (Add name) or clear the list
(Delete all).
