Playing CDs—Continued

While playback is stopped, press the [q]/
[w] buttons to select a folder.
The name of the folder will appear.
Press the [q] button to select the previous folder,
and press the [w] button to select the next folder.
To play back from the first song of the folder, skip
to step 3.

Use the arrow [e]/[r] buttons to select the
MP3 files within the folder.
The name of the MP3 file inside the folder is
displayed.
To select a different folder, press the [q]/[w]
buttons. (Restart from step 1.)

Press the [ENTER] button or [1/3]
button.
Playback starts.
During playback, press the [q] button to play the
first song of the previous folder. Alternatively,
press the [w] button to play the first song of the
next folder.
You can also select a folder by pressing the
[FOLDER] button, the [q]/[w] buttons, and then
the [ENTER] button.
Pausing Playback
To pause playback, press the Play/Pause [1/3]
button.
To resume playback, press it again.
You can display various information about the MP3 file
currently playing, such as title, artist, and album.
During playback, press the [DISPLAY] button
repeatedly to display the following MP3
information.
The information is shown in the following order.
Song title (or file name, if there is no ID3 tag)
•Artist name
Album title (or folder name, if there is no ID3 tag)
Note:
Only single-byte alphanumeric characters can be
shown.
Unsupported characters on the display are replaced
with “•” .
During 1-Folder mode, the range of playback will be
restricted to the current folder.
While the CD receiver is stopped, press the
[MODE] button repeatedly to display
“1FOLDER.
While playback is stopped during 1-Folder mode, the
selected folder name is shown.
Normal playback will stop after playing the last song in
the current folder. Repeat playback and random
playback will be limited to the current folder.
To play back the entire disc, press the [MODE] button
repeatedly to turn the “1FOLDER” indicator off.
With the memory playback function, the CD receiver
stores a list of up to 25 songs and plays them back from
memory.

While the unit is stopped, press the
[MODE] button repeatedly until the
“MEMORY” indicator lights up.

Use the [e]/[r] buttons to select a song to
play, then press the [ENTER].
If you play an MP3 disc, use the [q]/[w] buttons
to select the desired folder, use the [e]/[r]
buttons to select a song, then press the [ENTER]
button.
Repeat this step to store the desired songs (up to
P-25) in memory.
Press the [CLEAR] button repeatedly to delete
songs in memory starting with the one stored
most recently.

Press the [1/3] button.
Memory playback starts.
You can also combine memory playback, repeat
playback and random playback.
